Careers by Social Caste

Despite their being upward social mobility amongst the Baellig, most will find themselves cast into low roles until they are able to ascend in rank through bribery or bloodshed. The following is a list of random rolling charts for careers by social castes.

Thrall Careers
1-5 Beggar – One who begs for alms and food.
6-10 Dreg – A servant to a vikti or a monster.
11-15 Camp Thrall – One who follows a camp, servicing soldiers and cooking meals.
16-20 Servant – A general servant.
21-25 Valet – A personal messenger and carrier.
26-30 Pilgrim – A religiously devout being. Thralls may become Freemen if they complete a pilgrimage.
31-34 Jailer – One who works his master’s dungeons.
35-36 Conscript – A conscripted man-at-arms for an army.
